A Chance Opportunity

In January 2023, Kailei and Andrew got an unexpected opportunity. Orca Shop Co, an influencer marketing and live stream shopping company, approached them with an idea: start a Pokémon TCG live stream shop. As lifelong fans of the hobby, they jumped at the chance. They named their shop Kyogre Kards—a nod to the orca in Orca Shop’s name—and began streaming regularly, taking a short break of course for the birth of their third child Aura. Then continued building their community and ripping a ton of Pokemon packs!

Turning Passion into a Business

As their passion grew, so did their ambition. They dreamed of running their own business, so they saved up, formed an LLC, and took the leap—purchasing the business from Orca Shop in August 2023. To keep up with the growing demand, they brought Sereena on board, making it a true team effort.

Growing with the Community

Since then, Kyogre Kards has evolved into a thriving live shopping experience, selling over 18,000 items on TikTok Shop and pulling some seriously rare hits for customers. They have expanded to new platforms and new TCGs. But more than anything, it’s about the community—sharing the excitement of each pack, connecting with fellow collectors, and making every rip an unforgettable experience.
